With many years of corporate leadership experience, as a founder, board member, project leader and coordinator, Joy leads Buynak Law Firm’s coporate, limited liability, and non-profit formations, securities and tax filings, as well as guidance and maintenance.
Professional Experience
- Corporate and Limited Liability Company formations, some with common and preferred stock; shareholders, investor rights, and buy-sell agreements.
- Prepares and completes financial offerings, including private placement memorandums; working with start-up entrepreneurs to gain appropriate funding to launch their companies.
- General Counsel to several start-up Companies; understanding their needs and concerns; providing legal solutions to assist with their success.
- Utilizes Settlement Facilitation and Alternate Dispute Resolution Strategies to resolve business, lease, partnerships, real estate and landlord-tenant disputes.
- Advises our community non-profit boards and officials on formation, governance, board, management and employee relations, Funding and Capital Campaigns, Project Management, as well as Tax and Exemption issues.
